Easy to put up, especially with two people. Perfectly constructed, all parts fit and were in the box. We did spray all the zippers with silicone and found that the stakes were impossible in our rocky soil. We used "sand stakes" from [...] and now have the sturdiest, greenhouse around. A couple of sawhorses, a fan, a heater and a hose and we are a going concern. Reasonably priced and perfect for our needs.
Very nice, sturdy greenhouse. Does not set up in "minutes" as the box says. With two not-very-handy people working, it took about an hour to set up but wasn't really difficult. You do need a step stool or ladder to put the top frame on if you are short-medium height, and some of the poles are a very tight fit. It seems very sturdy and so far works perfectly. I have tomato seedlings in it covered with plastic, a full month before they would be able to go outside with no covering, in addition to lots of other vegetables. If you plant in the ground on one side, and use hangers and shelves, you can get a lot of plants in this small greenhouse. I will be using it all winter, attempting to grow greens year-round in New England without any heat source, as Eliot Coleman does in Maine. I will definitely be buying a second one to extend my year-round garden and hopefully it will hold up during our long, cold winters.
No explaination about netting or any specifics about 10 tie down strings...should be hooks or tighteners instead of knots.
We just put the Flowerhouse up a few weeks ago and so far it's working great! We had started all of our seeds indoors and moved them out the the Flowerhouse when in got warm enough. We had to take them in on one night that went down to freezing but otherwise we've kept them all in there and they are growing wonderfully! We've already had a neighbor stop and ask where they could get one. [...]
We have purchased several of the farmhouses for our small greenhouse business and all have been quick and easy to set up and take down after the season ends. They store away in a small carrying bag (which is provided) for winter storage. A great tempory shelter for our plants. The single problem we have encountered is that the ridge pole is very tight and almost seems to put extra stress on the top doing set up. Once installed everything else seems to go together great. Great product[...].
My farmhouse is useful because the climate here is a little too cool and damp for many vegetables. I can begin to harden off vegetables and seedlings in it, and I will leave my bell peppers, tomatillos and citrus in large pots in it all summer to get the extra heat and shelter from rains which are too frequent for the plants' best health. I already have a frame erected above my tomato plants so I can throw a cover over them during some of the rains, or I would have them in the flowerhouse also.
It was a little harder to set up than I imagined but after we got it up it has worked very well for what it is... an enexpensive little greenhouse. I wish I had gotten 2 and zipped them together.

This is a great product. bigger than we expected. It works so well, it heats up great and we use a portable heater at night. It was easy to set up and is very sturdy. We have a very bad wind storm the other day and it did not budge! I would highly recomend it. Just remember to tie shelves and such down well.

It couldn't be easier. I set it up in about 30 minutes, placed a few bales of straw around the outside, placed one oil-filled heater and one fan inside, and it has been fine in temps down to 21 degrees. The temp quickly sores to 90's when the sun is out and temps are in the 50's during the day, so the fan and the several windows make it easy to regulate the temp. I'm very happy with this product and would repeat the purchase. My only concern is whether the zippers will last as long as the product.
I have two of these zipped together and they've performed wonderfully.
The only problem I've had (and they've been up about 3 years now) is the screens rotting.. and no way to replace them. Also the little rings that hold the velcro straps on the window flaps ALL, literally, popped off at one time so there's no way to hold the flaps open.
I really miss my front door screen... wasps are getting there and I'd love to have a way to replace the screen.
Otherwise... an excellent product. Use a silicon spray on the zippers to eliminate a lot of hassle, and buy yourself some "real" stakes for tying it down.
i found this item to have a lot of problems mostly with the zippers as they tore apart the first time i closed it now the product is useless
Plus: Good for storage, keeps things dry. Great at it's intended job: a greenhouse. With a small heater it keeps it fairly warm and moist during cold weather.
Minus: In the real world this has no minus. A tiny bit difficult to set up. But nothing sets itself up. It does ok. Cutting an inch to 2 off the ends of the poles helps but my first one set up without cutting.
Recommendations: yes I would recommend it to a friend; I bought a second one myself. Thats my recommendation.
Need the assistance of "muscles" during assembly. Inspector missed one velcro latch on the inside that was incomplete. Otherwise, I am very pleased with this product. It was as it is advertised.
This greenhouse is much better made, sturdier and well-designed than I had imagined. I have two now. It's a great bargain!
If your looking for a great deal on a quality greenhouse this is it. It took me 30mins to set up, I didn't have to modify anything like you might read in other reviews and it has really made my garden healthy. I live in the Bay Area and at my house there are over 150 fog days a year. It only gets about 60 degrees for a few weeks out of the year though it never gets below 40 either. Not a good climate for strawberries, tomatos, and grapes, but thats what I've got growing in my greenhouse! The only knock is that I can't get the bottom frame flush with the ground on the door sides. But besides that it has done wonders for my garden!
Very good product. No problems, although I think I would put on better zippers. Also, you can't open the windows from the inside, just the doors. Nevertheless, I am very pleased. No more problems with pesky critters. Thanks.
This is a great piece of equipment and is everything you promised. The farmhouse arrived intact and on time. It was easy to erect, simple to put away, and it had no missing parts.
I plan to use it only during the 3 winter months in Louisiana and can enjoy my lawn the remainder of the time.
Thanks for super service. When this one wears out, I'll buy another!
I am really enjoying the green house. It has already saved my plants, since we got snow here a week ago (May 20). I had a little trouble stting up by myself, it just took longer than I thought it would.
It think it's great! It's holding up well! It was a little difficult to set up and it took me awhile, (the poles seems a little too long, it was hard getting them in place. It took us a couple of times, but we finally got it). The only problem we have now is that the grass is growing inside (no floor) and I haven't figure out how to cut it!
THIS LITTLE GREENHOUSE IS GREAT!! WE HAVE HAD SNOW , COLD TEMPS AND WIND, IT HELD UP AND WITH ONE LITTLE HEATER INSIDE IT STAYED AT 70 DEGREES WITHOUT A PROBLEM. I HAVE HAD A LARGE GREENHOUSE BUILT WITH LUMBER ATTACHED TO MY GARAGE THAT BLEW APART, FOR THE PRICE THIS IS A KEEPER. I WILL BE GETTING ANOTHER. I HAVE TOLD EVERYONE IN PINEDALE WHO WOULD LISTEN. THANKS FOR A GREAT PRODUCT, GREAT FOR WYOMING!
it is a great product and will do the job I wanted. thanks for making a great product
Over all, I found this to be well made and easy to set up, (After I had cut the poles down to length). From starts, my lettuce was ready to eat in about three weeks. I had to build shelfs to accommodate the tremendous growth! By putting landscaping mat on the ground, it creates a nice protected environment.
I read the reviews, and found others had problems with the poles. I expressed this to the sales person, who promised the poles would be right...Wrong! I not only had to cut every pole down by @1 1/2" AFTER setting it up, but I also had to cut the ridge pole down by a full 4". This wasted quite a lot of my time. In addition, there was a hole in one of the screens and No pockets for the poles in two corners.
This is really bad QC, there is no way the factory did not know about this. When I called a sales person said they would "look into it" they Never called back , as expected. If you can deal with the problems, a little extra work, then you have a nice little greenhouse.
The Farmhouse greenhouse was very easy to assemble, it took me about an hour. My three year old son thinks it's the best tent in the world. I'm just working out how to manage the temperature. The only problem I've had is that the green house has blown down the hill twice. The stakes just weren't strong enough. I bought some heavy duty stakes at the hardware store. So far, however, I really like it and look forward to growing some vegatables at 8000 feet.
Got the greenhouse surprisingly quickly and the price was great. The Farmhouse model is a very nice portable greenhouse - this makes 3 I've bought from AllGreenhouses. This one was for my mother on Mother's Day. She put her swing in it and reads the newspaper while the sun warms her bones. She even likes sitting in it on rainy days. Greenhouses are not just for keeping plants warm.
Excellent product - exceeded my expectations!
One day after easy setup, including all stakes & tiedowns to all side & roof loops, this greenhouse came through in perfect shape after a severe thunderstorm with golf ball size hail, heavy 3 1/2" rain & strong, sustained winds with 60-70 MPH gusts. After a sunny day yesterday, the night time temp was about 25 degrees. Although we didn't use a space heater or heat lamp, plants suffered no damage.
Friendly customer service folks at All Greenhouses & Flowerhouse provided quick response to pre-buy questions.
Look forward to doing business with y'all again!
the farmhouse is well made and easy to put up. I would recomend this greenhouse to any body that would be looking for a portable greenhous. my wife has over 300 diferent types of plants and was able to get them in the greenhouse.
we have had a greenhouse that uses metal poles and they have rusede with the fiberglass poles on the farmhouse greenhouse there will be no rust and it will last for years. thank you.
A great greenhouse, for its spacious usable space as well as the easiness in setting it up. Shrugged off 47 MPH winds, sustained over two day period (Noreaster!) without a hitch. Multiple ventilation windows are really great for lotus and orchids. Four access holes for water hose and extention cord are also a big plus. Best bang for the money among all 4 non-permanent greenhouses that I bought previously over a 10 year period.
Only not-so-great thing is that support poles are bit too long even after fully seated into each other (as instucted), and they won't fit into the greenhouse! I had to first saw off about 1.5" from each pole to fit them into the greenhouse. Other than that, everything is exactly as supposed to be. Overall time to set up (including saw-off) was 40 minutes.
Very nice unit. Seems like it will serve my purposes of using it as an artist nook. Prompt shipping and very nice rep who took the order.
Only complaint...several of the poles had torn bungie cords. We had to tape the poles together. There is no doubt the packer new of these and did not change them out for good ones. Also, they did not include enough metal stakes. The instructions do not recommend how the black sun fabric should be attached. Should it lay directly over the V top or should it be suspended up and over the unit like a canopy? If the latter, then one needs 4 poles to suspend it.
Overall review on just having the unit in place a few days: it is a very practical, inexpensive way of gaining space for all kinds of hobbies or storage.
